These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Golden Canine Co. By booking training services, you agree to the following terms.
Golden Canine Co provides dog walking, training and behaviour support services designed to help dogs and owners develop reliable skills, clear communication and improved behaviour.
Training services may include consultations, training sessions, practical training walks and behaviour support programmes.
Training sessions and consultations must be booked in advance. Appointments are confirmed once payment has been received and booking details have been agreed.
Dog walking sessions must be booked in advance. Appointments are confirmed and payment is required upon invoice (via email) at the end of the working week (Monday to Friday)
Bookings are subject to availability.
Payment for training programmes is required in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed. Payment confirms your place within the training programme.
Individual sessions, consultations or other services must be paid for before the appointment takes place.
Training programmes provide structured support over a series of sessions. Programme sessions should ideally be completed within a reasonable time frame to maintain training progress, this will be discussed with you in the initial consult.
Sessions included within a programme are non-transferable and non-refundable once the programme has begun, except in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of Golden Canine Co. We offer a 15-minute discovery call if you're unsure of which package to book, all packages./services are bookable after initial enquiry.
Training sessions take place in your dog’s home environment or suitable local locations. Working in the dog’s everyday environment helps address behaviour where it naturally occurs.
A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice may be charged in full. This policy helps ensure that appointment times can be offered to other clients where possible.
If a client arrives late for a scheduled session, the session may still end at the originally agreed time in order to avoid impacting other appointments.
Training success relies on consistent practice and owner participation.
Clients are responsible for:
Children should be supervised at all times during training sessions.
Clients must inform Golden Canine Co of any relevant medical or behavioural issues relating to their dog prior to training sessions. Dogs should be in good health and up to date with appropriate veterinary care.
If a dog shows signs of illness, injury or pain, training may need to be postponed and veterinary advice sought. Where appropriate, collaboration with your veterinary professional may be recommended.
Clients must disclose any history of aggression, biting or serious behavioural concerns prior to booking training services. Failure to disclose relevant information may result in the session being terminated if safety cannot be ensured.
While every effort is made to ensure safe training practices, clients remain responsible for the behaviour and welfare of their dog at all times. Golden Canine Co cannot be held liable for injury, damage or loss caused by a dog during training sessions.
Training focuses on clear communication, practical guidance and reward-based training techniques designed to support long-term behaviour change. The welfare of the dog is always prioritised during training.
While every effort is made to provide effective guidance and support, dog behaviour and training outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
Training progress depends on a variety of factors including:
Golden Canine Co will provide professional guidance and training strategies designed to support positive progress, but results may vary between individual dogs and situations.
Clients acknowledge that training requires ongoing effort and consistency outside of training sessions.
Training sessions may take place in a variety of environments including homes, public spaces and outdoor locations. Environmental factors such as weather, distractions and access to locations may influence how sessions are conducted.
Golden Canine Co reserves the right to refuse or terminate services where:
In such cases, alternative guidance or referrals may be recommended where appropriate.
If at any time a training session presents a significant safety risk to people, dogs or property, the session may be paused or terminated.
Where appropriate, alternative training approaches or referrals may be recommended.
Golden Canine Co reserves the right to modify services, programmes or pricing where necessary.
Any changes will be communicated to clients in advance where applicable.
Photographs or videos may occasionally be taken during training sessions for educational or promotional purposes. Permission will always be requested before sharing any identifiable content.
Training plans, written guidance, handouts and other materials provided by Golden Canine Co are intended for personal use by the client.
These materials may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared publicly without permission.
