DOg Walking FAQs

Currently, we only cover Chatteris and Somersham. This is to ensure that dogs within group walks are not in the car for prolonged periods of time.

Yes absolutely! We believe it's important to meet you and your dog/s before we start walking them. We offer free 30-minute meet and greets, so we can have a chat (and a cuddle - with the dogs).

During meet and greets, we focus on getting to know your dog, their likes/dislikes, favourite toys or even building their trust and confidence in a new person. If both owner and dog walker are happy, you will be asked to fill in client information forms (physical copy or sent online forms).

We will always bring copies of our first aid, DBS and Insurance to show you, and are happy to answer any and all questions you may have about our services.

Both options are available. Dogs may be walked individually or carefully matched with compatible dogs for group walks depending on temperament and suitability.

For any dog joining the small group walks, they will be required to have a few solo walks first.

Group walks are kept small to ensure safety and proper supervision. Dogs are matched based on temperament, size and energy levels.

Walks will continue in most weather conditions. In extreme heat, storms or icy conditions, walks may be shortened or replaced with enrichment activities or home visits for the dog’s safety.

Owners should provide a well-fitted collar or harness and lead. If a dog pulls excessively or requires additional handling equipment, this will be discussed with the owner.

Dogs will be towel dried where possible after walks. However, full grooming or bathing is not included as part of the service. We will always ask if any areas within your home should be restricted when they are soggy.

If a dog becomes unwell or injured, the owner will be contacted immediately and veterinary care will be sought if necessary.

Off-lead walking will only take place with owner permission and when it is considered safe and appropriate for the dog. Owners will be required to sign an off lead consent form.

Dogs are carefully matched based on temperament, size, energy level and compatibility to ensure safe and enjoyable walks for all dogs involved.

Many owners seek help with issues such as pulling on the lead, poor recall, jumping up, or reactivity towards other dogs. Training can also help build confidence and improve communication between dog and owner.

Training is delivered through structured programmes rather than single sessions. This allows time to properly assess the dog, develop a tailored plan and support progress between sessions, giving a better outcome than a single session.

Training sessions may take place in the home, local environment or suitable outdoor locations depending on the behaviour being addressed.

Every dog is different. Some training goals may improve within a few sessions, while behaviour modification can take longer depending on the dog, environment and consistency between sessions.

Yes. Owner involvement is an important part of the training process, as consistency between sessions helps dogs learn and maintain new behaviours.

Our training methods focus on kind, calm, welfare-led, science backed, clear communication and understanding canine behaviour.
